You are a senior in high school.
You're bookish.
You love the filmy, blurry photo style.
You just so happen to have a friend who loves photography and is a photographer.
She just so happens to love the filmy, blurry style you love.
You get together and collaborate.
You send each other Pinterest boards.
Then. The day arrives. You walk through downtown Greenville.
Stopping at the mill near the Peace Center.
The Grand Bohemian.
The Liberty Bridge.
And voila, here are how those photographs turned out.
I certainly enjoyed the privilege of photographing one of my dear friends on the occasion of her high school graduation. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to get to experiment and try out some new techniques. I also enjoyed photographing Victoria at the Grand Bohemian.
When we were discussing our plans for this photoshoot, I asked Victoria what her vision was. She told me she wanted a bookish, film-y vibe. I took that and ran with it. The Grand Bohemian library was the perfect spot for a couple of gorgeous senior portraits.
We started the evening by taking some photos near the buildings at Greenville Water. I haven't taken photos there before, but the sunshine, lampposts and quiet atmosphere was perfect for some photos. Next, we stopped at The Huguenot Mill next to the Peace Center and took some photographs right outside the building.
After that, we headed towards the Grand Bohemian and then capped off the night with photographs on the Liberty Bridge, just as the sun was setting.
In all it was a beautiful session and I truly had a ton of fun with Victoria. It is always so special getting to take photographs of such lovely humans. I would love to go on an adventure with you and capture your special moments! Please contact me at belleveritephotography@gmail.com. I look forward to meeting you!
